Local campaigner Paul Jennings, chair of the River Chess Association, was featured on ITV’s News at Ten on 8th July (you can view on YouTube at 21 minutes).

Interviewed against a back drop of a sewage polluted River Chess, Paul said that there had been 96 days already this year, when Thames Water’s sewage treatment plant near Chesham had released sewage following heavy rain.

Chorleywood Residents Association will continue to lobby SW Herts MP Gagan Mohindra to put an end to this unacceptable polluting, if necessary by changing the law to force larger penalties and remedial investment.

Meanwhile check the water before you let your kiddies swim!
