Our watering parties in the last couple of weeks were delighted and very touched by the kindness of Damian, the driver for Simmons’ bakeries. After making his delivery he came over to commend and thank us all for the good work we were doing in maintaining the flower beds. He then gave us a lovely bag of pastries to share, which was gratefully and eagerly received.
As we all know, the size of the pastries from Simmons means a few go a long way! It takes a lot of work maintaining these beds, watering, weeding, pruning, tidying, sweeping and all appreciation is lovely to receive. Thank you Simmons, your acknowledgement means a great deal to us.
