Watering and Planting assistance

We hope you all agree that the flower beds in the village are looking at their very best at this time of year. As all gardeners will appreciate, this wonderful sunshine we’ve been having has brought difficulties too. With the invaluable help of the Rangers from Chorleywood Parish Council, we are aiming to hold two watering parties a week, in order to give all the plants their best chance to thrive. We have a very small group of regular volunteers, but would dearly love to see a few more.

Since the one thing that also seem to thrive in this weather are the weeds, so when the temperature subsides a little, we’ll desperately also need a weeding party.

If you are able to spare some time, watering parties are often completed within 20 mins and even 30 mins of weeding can make a big difference.  Please contact lisa@chorleywoodresidents.co.uk.  Alternatively, please come and say hello at our stall on Village Day on 12th July.
