Chorleywood Community Choir is being relaunched on Thursday October 7, 8-9.30pm at St Andrew’s Church, Quickley Lane where there is plenty of parking. Fun, friendly and open to all, the fledgling choir was started in early 2020 by villager and musical director Sarah Stroh and it proved a big hit before lockdown intervened.
Sarah says: “I am delighted to be able to relaunch the choir – I have some exciting new repertoire planned, including the Carly Simon classic Let the River Run, plus we’ll be celebrating all things Abba with some familiar tunes from the fab four! And as we look forward to the Christmas season we’ll be preparing some songs to perform at St Andrew’s in December. Much to look forward to!”
