Chorleywood Community Library is delighted to announce the arrival of 3 Samsung Galaxy tablets (Hublets) that are free for members to use in the library. The tablets are ready to browse the internet and preloaded with some commonly used apps (subject to terms & conditions). When you’re done, return the Hublet to the docking station and all your data will be wiped, protecting your privacy, and ensuring that the Hublet is charged for the next customer.

Herts Library Service offer many on-line digital products via its Apps, including access to e-books, magazines & newspapers, as well as management of your library account. Chorleywood Library Volunteers are offering some free “Tea & Tablet” training sessions to support the use of these Apps. If you would like to attend, please drop into the library and reserve your place by talking to one of the volunteer staff. More sessions will be scheduled if there’s enough demand.

Please bring your smartphone or tablet to the training. If you don’t have one, you’ll be able to use one of the new Hublets.
