Chorleywood Library no longer limits visitor numbers (except in extremis), and customers are now allowed to sit down in all areas. Hand sanitisers remain at the front door, face coverings are recommended.

The annual children’s Summer Reading Challenge is up and running until 4th September, aiming to encourage children aged 4-11 to enjoy reading for pleasure and build confidence.  To join in children need to be or become a member of the library (it’s free), and read 6 books during the challenge.

This year’s Challenge is “Wild World Heroes”, developed with the help of the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), designed to inspire children to engage with wildlife and environmental issues.

Happy browsing – come and see the new stock.
