Moped driver issued warning after driving on Chorleywood Common

  • A 16-year-old who drove his moped onto Chorleywood Common has been handed a section 59 warning notice. Under the police reform act 2002 this notice will remain in place for 12 months. If the driver uses his vehicle in any anti-social manner during this time frame his vehicle can be seized by Police. A moped is not a toy to impress friends and should be driven responsibly and safely and only on a road.

Action Fraud Alert: rise of extortion phishing email reports

  • Action Fraud are urging the public to look out for phishing emails that relate to extortion as the Suspicious Email Reporting Service (SERS) received over 2,924 reports in March 2025, a staggering increase compared to only 133 reports made in February.
