Mixed news for some visitors to Chorleywood Library

From Friday 27th September, Hertfordshire Library Service will no longer fund physical copies of newspapers and reference periodicals. It will be possible to access most titles online for free through Herts Libraries PressReader and Libby Apps, available 24/7 with your library card and PIN.

In the library you can:

• Use your own device with the free Wi-Fi
• Log on to a public computer (2 hours free per day for members)

Chorleywood Library Volunteers (CLV) who staff the Library are inviting users to let them know of any magazines/periodicals they are particularly keen to see. CLV will consider whether it can afford to purchase any using its own funds.

In the past the Co-op has donated a newspaper but CLV no longer has a volunteer who can collect it. So if you have any ideas …. please speak to a volunteer or email: cwlvolunteers@gmail.com
