Old Shire Lane

Frustratingly, the planned works to repair the end of Old Shire Lane and install bollards to stop vehicles encroaching beyond the road surface were delayed by the contractors waiting for permission from the British Pipeline Agency.

HCC’s Access Project Officer, Julian Thornton, assured us that works would start by the end of March, and we’ve pleased to see formal notification a few days ago that the works start on Monday 24th March.
