Please Park Responsibly

Residents continue to voice concerns regarding inconsiderate parking around Chorleywood. Particularly prominent during peak morning and later afternoon periods with heavier traffic flow, where poor parking decisions are creating hazards.

An example is outside Russell School on Blacketts Wood Drive where cars inexplicably park on both sides of the road causing a chicane effect for oncoming traffic. Meaning poor visibility and difficulty driving through. A child was recently hit by a car in this exact location. Whilst they avoided serious injury, it serves as a stern warning to us all.
