Precious Paws Cat Rescue was started last year by Jacqui Schafer, owner of Convivial Cats Springwell Boarding cattery, after she had many people asking for help with strays and abandoned cats during lockdown.  Since then they have become very busy taking on and rehoming many friendly and some feral cats.  They are located on Springwell Lane, WD3 8UR.

The friendly cats are spayed / neutered, health checked, microchip flea / wormed and vaccinated before they go to their ‘furever’ homes. All homes are checked and homing questionnaire have to be filled in to help match up the right cat to the right home.  The feral cats are relocated to a safe small holding or stables after doing checks.

As a non-profit rescue they rely heavily on donations alongside a small income from adoption fees.

This year they have had so many cats with kittens that any donations of food (not felix or the recalled brands), cat litter, beds and even toys would be very much appreciated and be a big help.   Cash donations make a big difference and can be done using PayPal via this link.
