The consultation deadline on Three Rivers new Local Plan, which is different from the Chorleywood Neighbourhood Plan that was approved in May, has been extended to August 20th.  Soon CRA will add a quick summary of the key points for each site in Chorleywood, to help with your responses.

This is our last important opportunity to influence if and where houses are built in Chorleywood.  We think Three Rivers has allocated too much of our precious Green Belt for housing; once lost we can never get it back.  We agree more housing is needed, especially smaller houses.  If you agree that we must protect more Green Belt please sign the petition at http://chng.it/2Rn7drtf .  Well over 1,200* residents have already signed.

Our detailed site by site analysis of TRDC’s proposed housing sites is on the New Local Plan page of our website, soon to be joined by our quick “key points” summaries.

The Plan is on display at Chorleywood Library.

Please use this opportunity to give TRDC your views on the Local Plan – with the petition and your personal consultation response.

(The petition uses https://www.change.org/ and after signing you are given an option to “chip in”.  This is optional, and if you choose to do this any money you donate goes to change.org and not to the residents’ associations)
