No doubt residents will have seen that the HCC highways’ contractors, Ringway, have now distributed top soil with grass seed over the verges along Chalfont Lane. Judging from the number of enquiries we’ve received on this, it has clearly been an important issue to many residents. The new pavements and driveways look very elegant and once the new grass cover appears, the area will look very smart indeed.
We respectfully ask therefore, that wherever possible, please could people kindly avoid walking, parking or riding on it with horses or bikes until the new grass has become established.
Let’s all play our part, since Chorleywood will only ever be as beautiful as we allow.
