Wednesday 24th November & Friday 26th November. Sessions between 10.30 – 3.30pm

Local Woodoaks Farm have announced their first community volunteer days.

The Maple Cross farm has been overwhelmed with the positive response to their recently revealed plans for a sustainable food and farming hub. *

This November they begin their journey towards regeneration by replanting some of the long-gone hedgerows to increase biodiversity and help nature flourish on the farm.

To do this they need some hearty local volunteers. If you’d like to join them in the fields and help them to get the first kilometre of hedgerows in the ground just fill in this form HERE

Volunteer dates: Wednesday 24th November & Friday 26th November. Sessions between 10.30 – 3.30pm

*Woodoaks Farm, Maple Cross, has been donated by former owner Sally Findlay to the Soil Association .   The objective is to turn its 300 acres into a showcase for organic farming and businesses that will support a climate friendly future.   They are starting with replanting hedges that have disappeared over past decades.
