As you may know there was a nasty accident in Chorleywood Bottom on Friday 14th, thankfully no-one was hurt. It’s a 20mph speed limit already but some feel this hasn’t had any effect. We’ve spoken to our HCC Cllr Louise Price to see if more effective speed-limiting is possible, such as a 🙂/🙁 SID (Speed Indicator Device) warning sign on the approach from Shepherds Bridge. She will look at the live data on speeds, and we’ll let you know if changes are planned.
The corner in Chorleywood Bottom also now has double yellow lines on both sides. We and the Parish Council are pressing TRDC for an early review of the effect on residents of these additional parking restrictions in a few months’ time. |
