Spooky Halloween Story Boat Trips

Rickmansworth Waterways Trust invite you to climb aboard for a friendly-spooky storytelling cruise this half-term. Halloween tales, pumpkins and gentle chills on one of our narrowboats. Halloween-themed fun and games afterwards!

Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October 2026.Times:
Every hour from 10:00 am, last trip at 3.00 pm. Pre-bookings only!

What to Expect:

  • Cruise for 35 minutes along the canal and back.
  • Listen as our storytellers share Halloween tales perfect for children.
  • Watch out. What spooky things can you spot as the canal drifts by?
  • Dress up if you like — little witches, ghosts and pumpkins all welcome.
  • Have fun. After your trip, join us for Halloween fun and games (30 mins).
  • A book for all little Halloweeners to take home.

For children of all ages: Children must be accompanied by an adult (one adult can accompany more than one child). Babies under 12 months old are free and do not have to be booked.
