Chorleywood Aid for Ukraine (CAFUKR) has been shipping clothing, bedding, and other aid to Brovary, near Kyiv, for over 2 years now. This aid is currently being distributed to evacuees and refugees from villages in the Kharkiv region.
Our colleagues in Brovary, From Dreams to Reality charitable foundation, operate a hub which ideally will need a generator for this winter to cover the electricity cuts. Because they are near a community centre, some businesses, and residential properties, they need a quiet and efficient generator which they can source locally.
We have committed to help fundraise for this endeavour and already have £280 of the £1,000 we’d like to raise by the end of September.
