Many of you will have noticed the welcome appearance of additional trees on Blacketts Wood Drive, which now extend along most of the road. They follow the planting of the first five trees earlier this year. The CRA Committee has been involved in this initiative in conjunction with Hertfordshire County Council, who are ultimately responsible for planting these new trees.
As mentioned previously, the tree types have been specially selected so they do not grow too large and to provide attractive spring blossom. We hope residents enjoy them and please be prepared to help out with some watering of the trees if we get another hot summer.
