We are as disappointed as you at the frequently blocked drains and gulleys in Chorleywood, which appear to receive little to no maintenance.
We are trying to meet with HCC in the hope of agreeing a more proactive approach to drain maintenance.

As Autumn sets in, please may we ask that residents and their gardeners’ dispose of leaves and hedge trimmings responsibly. Either by adding them to their own composts or by taking them to the nearest refuse and recycling centre. Blowing debris into the street, just adds even more pressure to our already stretched drainage systems.
