Federation of Metropolitan Line User Committees (FOMLUC)

FOMLUC meets with Transport for London (TfL) and London Underground (LU) a few times a year to discuss issues. The meetings can be a great help in getting problems addressed. On 1st October we raised the litter problem alongside Station Approach and the lack of staff on platform 2 at Baker St to help with information.  
 
Note that next summer there will be more fast Amersham / Chesham trains each day, because the rails are old and they overheat with friction in summer. Fast trains ease the temperature load on tracks, by leaving longer gaps between trains for the rails to cool down. The timetable will revert to slow off peak trains in autumn 2025.  Sorry!  Replacement of the rails can’t start until the current 4LM (4 Line Modernisation) signalling project has finished, a few years from now.
