FOCW are a local Chorleywood group whose membership has dwindled recently and who are in urgent need of new recruits to keep going.
Carpenters Wood is one of the few designated ancient woodlands in the UK, is over 400 years old and is a wonderful example of a mature Beech wood, which is full of bluebells in the Spring.
At present the Friends group meet twice a month (the first and third Thursday mornings). Their volunteers come when they can and do only what they can manage.
