Customers at the The Café on the Common are being served by a new team of interns who started their training with Mission EmployAble in early September. Training manger Cass Langham said: ‘Our new interns are already shaping up well and are a pleasure to work with.’
The Café has also added some new dishes to its menu including Mezze (a selection of Middle Eastern dishes to share), Posh Toast open sandwiches, Roasted Roots winter salad, Chorizo and Butter Bean Stew; and NY Pastrami Bagel.
And perfect for Christmas: the Café is also selling a range of products made by women traumatised by exploitation or trafficking; and by people with complex support needs, for Lovewell and Arthouse Unlimited respectively.
