We understand consultation letters on a 20mph limit for most of central Chorleywood roads will be issued soon. We understand and respect that residents will have differing views on this topic.
While we all support increased awareness of speed and safety, the current proposal doesn’t cover faster roads such as Shire Lane, Blacketts Wood Drive and Green Street, and would mean lots of extra speed limit signs in central Chorleywood.
We believe in more focused measures at problem spots such as Stag Lane and Chorleywood Bottom. For more information on the points to consider please click here.
