For information, we have received confirmation from the TRDC Planning team that a standard advisory clause is added to all planning approvals, which states that “Care should be taken during the building works hereby approved to ensure no damage occurs to the verge or footpaths during construction. Vehicles delivering materials to this development shall not override or cause damage to the public footway. Any damage will require to be made good to the satisfaction of the Council and at the applicant’s expense”.

Applicants sign the planning approval to accept this and any other planning conditions, so please note and ensure that our nice grass verges are restored if they are damaged by works at your property.  We hope the spirit of this clause will always be honoured, even if any works done do not require planning permission.
