The CRA nominated Tilak Patel from Lords in Chorleywood for the 2022 Parish Council Community Champion Award and were delighted that he was chosen as the very the worthy winner.
When we approached him in the Spring of 2020 to ask if he would consider providing a space for our Post Office, he immediately said “Yes, since I realise it’s important for the community”. He provided the space free of charge and has now incorporated the post office counter as a permanent fixture, providing a service seven days a week. He is always very generous in supporting various charity events in Chorleywood as well as the Chorleywood Corona Support Group. The CRA would like to congratulate Tilak and to thank him again for all he does for our community.
