We were dismayed to see that the papers for TRDC’s Local Plan subcommittee meeting in July did not include any mention of the Chorleywood Parish Council’s response to last summer’s Regulation 18 consultation. Including CPC’s response is mandatory. We raised a complaint and you can see TRDC’s response here.
We’re pleased to see the apology. TRDC received >20,000 points from 3,051 respondents. This shows how important the Local Plan is – it can threaten our way of life and the character of our much-loved village. It’s vital that TRDC fully and properly considers all of these points, on both policies and sites, and from both CPC and Chorleywood residents, from here onwards. Only then can we have confidence in the review process and the resulting Local Plan proposal from TRDC.
