After a blustery rainy start, Village Day 2023 finally came alive at around 2:30 when the sun came out. The CRA stall was buzzing. Sadly, not to play our Underground Game, but to query, discuss, and rant about the Local Cycling Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP). We were happy our message got out, and many residents submitted their comments by the deadline of 23:45 July 17, 2023.

The winner of the prize hamper was Dawn Roberts with her winning station of Ruislip Gardens. Well done, Dawn!

Another winner of the day was our own Lisa Stewart, voted Community Champion 2023. Lisa works tirelessly in relation to Highways & Parking, Business Liaison and the Memorial garden.  She also secured our permanent Post Office counter service in Lords (when the old post office closed) and most recently, with much hard work, the transformation of the flower beds on New Parade.

We thank you, Chorleywood thanks you and the BEES thank you! Well done Lisa!
