Are you interested in volunteering in your local community? Do you want to get involved with real environmental conservation work?

The Chorleywood Common rangers have taken the decision to move away from fixed monthly sessions to the provision of bespoke opportunities based on enquiries received and the work plan on the Common at any given time. The rangers are always happy to accommodate any litter picking tasks and have had lots of interest lately from students undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The rangers can also facilitate activities for schools and scouting groups and corporate volunteering teams plus guided tours and seasonal wildlife walks.

Recent activities include heathland restoration work, invasive species removal and the painting of way-markers and information boards.

If you are interested in undertaking volunteering opportunities on Chorleywood Common as an individual or a group please get in touch with the Parish Council by emailing: info@chorleywood-pc.gov.uk or calling the office on 01923 285594.
