Friends of Chorleywood Common

The Friends exist to conserve and safeguard the Common and to promote interest in it.

To enable the Friends to continue as an independent, formally constituted, organisation, new members are required for its Executive Committee to fill the roles of Chairman, Treasurer, Membership Secretary and a Creative Editor for the website. Without these positions being filled, the existing Committee would be unable to continue and the organisation would have to be wound up.

The Friends help the Parish Council’s rangers with maintenance work on occasions, run a stand at Village Day and look at planning applications that are relevant to the Common.
