We were delighted to see many residents at our AGM on May 10th. If you weren’t able to attend, a copy of the slides is at on the AGM page of our website. We were sorry that our colleague Rhonda Vanderwood wasn’t able to stand for re-election, for personal reasons, and are very grateful for her help over the last 2 years. She’s been an excellent committee member, and a good fun colleague! All the officers and other committee members were unanimously re-elected, and our new colleague Chris Gagg was elected.

Our guest speaker Sheryl Shurville told us her amazing success story of the now internationally-recognised Chorleywood Bookshop, as an independent bookseller. Sheryl’s idea for a literary festival started with one weekend a year, and now runs all year round. Authors now fight for an invitation to Chorleywood!

In the Open Forum we addressed many interesting and topical issues raised by residents. We really value this feedback, it helps us to shape our future priorities.

Please spread the word re our monthly newsletter. Only ~1600 residents are signed up, out of ~4,500 Chorleywood households! Tell your friends and neighbours how useful it is. The more residents we reach, the better we can help Chorleywood!

Go to https://chorleywoodresidents.co.uk/news/newsletter/ to sign-up … takes less than a minute.

Remember – Chorleywood is as good as we make it … or as bad as we let it become
