A message from Chorleywood Aid for Ukraine (CAFUKR)

Two years after the Russian invasion, Ukraine continues to suffer bombardment, hostile occupation and the disruption of everything that provides a settled life for its people. This is total war – not just a military assault.

Chorleywood has responded generously. You have enabled CAFUKR to send bags weighing a total of over six tons to our sister charity in Brovary, near Kyiv. Your donations have helped our partner, KentRelief, send over 90 tons of relief supplies to civilians in a country under attack – clothing, bedding, food, mobility aids, medicine and toys.

Now we’re asking you for help again – by donating clothing, bedding, shoes, soft toys – and also funds to support the cost of transport: each consignment to Bovary costs around £650.

You – and our amazing team of local Ukrainian guests – are making a huge difference to the lives of ordinary people. Please look at our website www.cafukr.org to see what Chorleywood is doing and how you can help make a difference.

Thank you!
