It’s been good to see the empty units at Sheraton House filled with three new businesses. We wish them, and the new Collectors Cardhouse, every success.
Meanwhile, please do not forget our old faithful shops, which require our constant support too. Sometimes it’s not just about us, but it’s about shops that provide essential service for others, e.g, A&E Newsagents who still deliver newspapers to those who may not be able to go out and get them.
None of us like to see empty shop fronts and surely we have enough food shops by now! So let’s do what we can to keep as wide a variety of shops in the village as possible. Just a few pounds a week from every household can truly make a huge difference.
