Your local woodland needs you!

The Woodland Trust has been managing Philipshill Wood in Chorleywood for several years with the help of local volunteers, who have been instrumental in supporting important conservation work on site. The woodland is well used by people and wildlife, with species such as tawny owl and woodpecker calling it home.

The volunteer working group meet regularly on Wednesday mornings throughout the year and take part in various tasks set by the Site Manager. However, to be able to continue, the Woodland Trust is seeking more members of the community to join, both as Working Group Members and Working Group Leaders.
