A local “COP” event, was hosted by Three Rivers last Monday at Watersmeet, to promote knowledge, exchange ideas, and act to mitigate adverse climate change.  150 or more wide-ranging participants saw a thought-provoking film “2040” which, despite all the grim alerts, offered hope – provided we change. Now.

  • Hertfordshire is one of the driest counties in the UK, yet is the highest consumer of water per head.  Act now to reduce.
  • 39,000 homes in Three Rivers need insulation costing an estimated £580M.   Can you self-fund?
  • 76 species have gone extinct in this area in the last 50 years, 1446 are on the edge.  Act now to reduce further loss.
