Major works between Heronsgate and Bovingdon

Recently it has felt that Chorleywood has been under siege with all the road works, and we’re sorry to say that it isn’t over yet. Affinity Water are undergoing a huge project, laying a new water pipe from Heronsgate to Bovingdon. The works are scheduled from 23rd February 2026 to 23rd February 2027.

This is a summary of the local roads which will be impacted first.

Works will then move into Shire Lane, Chalfont Lane, Blacketts Wood Drive and beyond.
