Discover one of the wonders of the medieval world, Ely Cathedral, known as “The Ship of the Fens” because it towers dramatically over the flat marshes of Cambridgeshire. Famous for its stunning medieval engineering, specifically the Octagon Lantern Tower, it boasts a rich history and is a place of pilgrimage linked with St Etheldreda.
On Saturday 17th October our tour coach boarding will be at the Hillside Centre in Hillside Road at 8.45am, departing at 9am. Entrance and guided tour of the cathedral will be at 11am. Return departure will be at 4pm. Please note there are no refreshment facilities in the cathedral.
