Chorleywood is being surrounded!

We’re sure you already know of the sizeable development proposals at Green Street and Catlips Farm, which if developed would undoubtedly change Chorleywood irrevocably. We now expect two more significant planning applications will shortly come forward:

• 100 new homes at Hill Farm, off Stag Lane, and
• 650 new homes between Long Lane and Shepherds Lane.

If these applications proceed, Chorleywood will be completely merged with Rickmansworth and Mill End. Experience shows that when this happens, the character of the merged areas changes fundamentally.

These new applications show how important it is that Chorleywood Parish Council has sufficient funds for the specialist advice and legal representation they will need to challenge these applications.
