The council has reviewed all discretionary licensing fees and charges. Due to cost pressures, all discretionary licensing fees and charges are proposed to be increased, except for all fees relating to driver licences (Hackney Carriage, Private Hire and Dual drivers).
The affected fees include vehicle licences, taxi operator licences, scrap metal, sexual entertainment and street trading consent applications.
As a result of the changes proposed the council is seeking your views on the revised fees via a public consultation.
