Three Rivers are encouraging street-based groups to explore what they could do to live more sustainably and perhaps save  money at the same time. Every little counts.

Residents of Carpenters Wood Drive & Whitelands Avenue have come together to see what they can learn and achieve with nearly 20 people expressing an interest.

CRA lead on the Environment [Angela Killick] and Chorleywood Parish Council chair of Sustainability [Jennifer Whinnett] have combined to form this experimental two-street group. Six themes are to be discussed initially: Energy, Food, Travel, Water, Resources (waste), Nature (biodiversity).

The TRDC-approved not-for-profit organisation GUCE is supporting with advice and an offer of a free heat-loss survey of members’ houses.
