Local Plan Update – August 2026

The final public consultation on the draft new Local Plan is now underway, running until 25th September. The draft Plan and the link to the consultation can be found at https://www.threerivers.gov.uk/services/planning/planning-policy/new-local-plan#Regulation%2019%20Consultation.

Further briefings on this will be provided to residents through the regular Planning Updates, with the next edition due out in the coming week.

Jointly with the Parish, we are running public surgeries if residents have any questions on this or any other matters. The upcoming dates for these are:

• Tuesday 25th August – 7:30pm to 9:30pm – Common Room, War Memorial Hall
• Wednesday 9th September – 7:30pm to 9:30pm – Common Room, War Memorial Hall

Planning Fighting Fund

To best respond in challenging some of the planning proposals will need highly specialised advice, guidance and representation, which is likely to be very expensive. To fund this, the Parish Council has established a fighting fund and has committed to match every donation made by parishioners to the fund up to a total of £50,000.
