Many residents will be familiar with the fault reporting service provided by Hertfordshire County Council and have used it to report e.g. potholes or blocked drains. I was, but didn’t know how to find out what had happened to my report. But it looks like this is possible by first registering with the service, and then reporting the fault while Logged in.
Go to Highways – Search for a Fault and click on Login / Register on the top menu bar. Here you can register if you haven’t previously, or just login. Once logged in you can go to Services, and select the Highways – Report a fault option. From there you choose the type of fault, identify the location and provide details with photos.
In the future you are able to see the status of the fault report by selecting the My Requests option (link) whilst logged in. It is also possible from the map to click on a fault marker and subscribe to updates.
