Advance Notice – Metropolitan Line Closures

We have been advised of planned closures on the Metropolitan line affecting Chorleywood as follows:

• Saturday 7 November to Sunday 8 November 2026. No service on the entire line.
• Saturday 13 February to Sunday 14 February 2027. No service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate
• Thursday 18 February to Sunday 21 February 2027. No service between Harrow-on-the-Hill to Amersham, Chesham and Watford

The programme is sometimes subject to change.

Note also that the seasonal “leaf-fall” timetable starts on 28 September 2026. Met line services run more slowly to reduce what would otherwise be an increased risk of trains sliding on the leaf mulch, so train times are consequently slightly different at stations at the north end of the Metropolitan line.
