Three Rivers District Council Three Rivers District Council is running a further consultation about arrangements for Parish Councils across the district. The need for this has been driven by the Local Government Reorganisation activities being undertaken by the Government, which we are expecting to hear more about by early November.

For Chorleywood, this will include a chance to comment on possible changes to the electoral wards for the Parish. With the reduction in the number of District / County councillors representing the area due to the ongoing Local Government Reorganisation, it is likely that Parish councillors will become the first port of call for many resident queries about local government services.

The proposed changes to the Parish ward boundaries are aimed at creating wards that are better aligned to the character and identity of the various areas of the Parish, so that councillors can better understand and represent the views of their electors. The map of the new wards can be found at Proposed Wards.

The consultation is now open ( TRDC Stage 2 Community Governance Review ) and will run until 15th January 2027. Please do not miss this opportunity to have your say about the electoral arrangements for our Parish.
