In last month’s newsletter we highlighted the issue with the very poor lighting in Chorleywood station car park. We have again contacted TfL and received a further update as follows:

“Under instruction, Saba have installed 7 LED Solar lights as a temporary measure and Places for London will be rolling out an extensive upgrade program across all 76 car parks across London and the more problematic locations, such as Chorleywood will be on the priority list, however due to the size of the portfolio, this is a major program with over 650 light columns needing to be replaced”

As the temporary solar lighting is very dim, and with the prospect of a lengthy wait while the major program is undertaken, we have raised this issue with our MP Gagan Mohindra, asking for his help to get the lights fixed asap.
