Each year Chorleywood Parish Council (CPC) calls for nominations for its Chorleywood Community Champion award, for outstanding contribution to the Parish over the previous calendar year.  It was instigated during the COVID-19 Pandemic to acknowledge the fantastic examples of good deeds and people going above and beyond to help others in time of need.  All nominees receive a medal of recognition and gratitude.  The overall winner and recipient of the Chorleywood Community Champion Award is decided by CPC at its April meeting, with awards and medals being presented at Village Day, which this year is Saturday, 13 July.

Nominate your candidate(s) for the 2023 Chorleywood Community Champion award by emailing clerk@chorleywood-pc.gov.uk to receive a nomination form.

On occasion, CPC also awards Freedom of Chorleywood Parish, in recognition of exceptional service given to the Parish over a longer period of time. For this occasional award, residents can petition any Parish Councillor to consider a particular person. Full details, including 2023 recipients of these awards, are here.
