Local resident Simon Elson is running a marathon in Southampton on Sunday 7th April, 2024 to raise money for Chorleywood charity Mission EmployAble.
Simon is 23 years old and has been a keen runner for several years. After setting up his own marketing company in 2020, Mission EmployAble was one of his first ever clients – and he now wants to return the favour by fundraising for the charity.
Simon says “Mission EmployAble is a real asset to the local community. I have been honoured to meet lots of young adults in the area whose lives have been transformed by the incredible work the charity does. I cannot think of a worthier cause to raise money for – and I encourage everyone reading this to visit the Café on the Common, if you haven’t done so already!”
