West Hertfordshire NHS Trust are developing plans for a new hospital in Watford to replace the existing Watford General Hospital.  BDP, the architects for the project, have now provided an outline of the plans. Unfortunately, by the time we found out about this, it was too late to provide feedback but if you are interested click here for details of the proposals.

One area of concern that we have spotted is that the plan is for towers which are about twice the height of the longest fire brigade ladder in this country, but this should be considered in more detail when the proposals go forward for Outline Planning Permission.
