Join the Chilterns Chalk Streams Project on a ‘BioBlitz’ mission to record as many species as possible in one day!
Saturday 18th July between 08:00 and 17:00 at Chorleywood House Estate.
This citizen science bonanza is based within the amazing habitats of Chorleywood House Estate Local Nature Reserve – including beech woodland, chalk grassland, ponds and the River Chess – a globally rare chalk stream.
Expect guided surveys and chances to get stuck in with everything from river dipping, bird spotting, and meadow surveys. This event is suitable for all ages and abilities – no expertise necessary but enthusiasm is very welcome! The day will be a free drop-in event, so you can come for as long as you want to.
The event is free but book your space now for reminders and to be sent programme details: Chess Bioblitz | Chilterns Chalk Stream Project |
