Memorial Garden bench – the Shedders come to the rescue!

We were very sad to see that the much-loved bench in the Memorial Garden at the Shire Lane / Lower Road crossroads had collapsed. It was regularly used by residents of all ages wanting to take a break, and enjoy looking at the shrubs and flowers.  

The CPC Rangers have taken the remains away, and the Chorleywood Community Shedders are going to repair it!

What a great project for our local Shedders. We look forward to seeing the restored bench before long.
